Saltxipi

The Saltxipi Restaurant is just past the Gros neighborhood, located in an old farmhouse, so it is a restaurant that, as soon as you arrive, takes you to Basque tradition and gastronomy.

It has a beautiful terrace, which, if you are lucky with the weather, is worth eating outside. If you go to dinner, it is illuminated and it is a very special place even to celebrate anything.

Like all the grills in Donostia that we have recommended, they have very careful local products and any of the dishes on their menu will leave you with your mouth watering.

If you don’t know which of their delicious dishes to try, there is a Saltxipi menu (not served in July, August and September) for €80 which is perfect for trying a few dishes, each one tastier.

It also has a tasting menu, more expensive than the previous ones, for €100, although they are not served during the months of July, August and September. Although it is a more expensive menu, it is also a menu with many dishes to try, so it is worth it.
